Been pretty busy at the torch the last few days. Yesterday was a marathon and I spent probably close to 8 hours working. Boy was I tired!
I've been trying to do a pseudo-implosion bead and both of them have cracked. It's really bugging me because the second one:
really turned out nice plus I made sure it was still glowing before I put it in the kiln. It looks like thermal break but I'm thinking it must be a compatibility issue. Oh well. Back to the drawing board.
Most of the snow has melted just as I knew it would. Springs around the corner! Of course I still don't have our taxes done. aughh!!!!! And it's the first of the month which means sitting down to do the bills. gag. I want my Mommy. You know. Some days it's just sucks being an adult.
My diet is going well and I'm down 36 pounds and back into regular sizes. Well. almost. My size 18 jeans are still a hair snug. Never thought I'd see the day I was ecstatic to be in a size 18 but there ya go.
Well today's entry is short cause I have to run to town to mail beads, go to the grocery store and then head to wallyworld. ugh. I only go when I have no choice.
