Well, got the iTunes thing sorted out only to have the power go out sometime during the night on Wednesday, I think it was. Got up and the microwave, Joe's iMac, the Airport base station and modem were fine but my Mini was off. When I started it up both my external drives were no where to be found.
Ohdeargod.
Much gnashing of teeth later and searching on the net I found the problem. I'd already narrowed it down to the firewire port and sure enough ... evidently some power management thing in the operating system had lost track of what was supposed to be getting how much. Soooo. Unplugging all the cables, inserting the power cord while simulataneously pressing the power button did the trick. Everything back and all better.
grumble grumble.
Am currently in the midst of my first Gold Canyon open house and so far only 2 people have shown up. Well bother. I got all worked up for not much. But at least I have enough sales with the 3 I have to count it as an official "party." :-)
And tomorrow it's back at the torch. I have plans folks. BIG plans. Either I figure out what buyers want or I have to cancel my ad in Beadwork because I'm falling further and further down the hole and not making any sales.
So this week I'm going to concentrate on sets. We'll see.
Anyhoo. That's about it from here. Look for more beads on Monday. Posted 2 new sets yesterday. That's a start.
